I confess this stuff always makes me queasy

Teen arrested for filming 20 sec clip of "Transformers" on cell phone pleads guilty to one count of unlawfully recording a motion picture. $2,500 fine.

Yes, it is a violation of the law. I just think our standards as a society are screwed up when a teen can drive while intoxicated and get a warning or a suspended sentence, but another teen gets the book thrown at her for a 20 sec clip on a device that is incapable of doing real recording for counterfeiting purposes.
