Only those shmegegies at Verizon and schmucks at ICANN could have thought up such thing! Oy vey! What a goyishe kop! Who needs such IDN tzuris.

The new international domain name system (IDN) names will include Yiddish in the test bed, but not Hebrew.

Given that Yiddish uses Hebrew characters, but Hebrew is far more common, one wonders "What were they thinking?" It's not like IDNS haven't been debated for years?
