Turns out people who voted against earmarks didn't mean *their* earmarks.

I'd like to think people learn a valuable lesson from this, but they don't. It simply confirms the power of cognitive dissonance. In the meantime, if you voted for Tea Party candidates and believe the deficit is going to destroy our children's future, then shut the F--- up. You're interrupting my Cassandrafreude.
