Link Harvest: Verizon Goofs in Montana

Failure to renew its roaming agreement with AT&T (because AT&T shut off the old Alltel CDMA network) and failure to build out cause Verizon Wireless o lose service in a good chunk of Montana.

This is an example of what I call "network neuropathy," the gradual degredation of the network at the edges as we have deregulated. It is also a good example of why simplistic arguments about incentives are so very wrong.
