Time Event
My life is now too weird
After this blog post, someone set up a twitter account for "Imaginary Harold Feld." I honestly have no idea who it is and if the person intends to be mocking or supportive.

Sometimes it's funny, although most of the time I think I am actually funnier. Sometimes it is just weird. It does however remind me of "Yaakov's Rules For Court Schtick" which I enforced when I was head of the Carolingian Fools Guild.

Rule 1: You are not as funny as you think you are.

Rule 2: Rule 1 really does apply to you.

Either way, this probably counts as the most bizarre career milestone I've hit to date. Surely I am living Eric Bogle's song "Big (In A Small Way)."
The Genius Prayer
From today's Pearls Before Swine.

God grant me the courage to change the things I cannot accept
Serenity to accept the things I have changed
And the wisdom to know I'm different.

I'm thinking of sending it to the Neocons at George Mason with Rat's notation: "Don't try to use it, you're not qualified."

But if anyone would put this on one of those ever-so-darling backgrounds used for inspirational thoughts, I would appreciate it.
