America's Future Now -- Is It Still Early?

I'm at the America's Future Now conference. It is not exactly hopping. I'm hoping this reflects the fact that it is early in the day rather than an overall decline in interest.

Is progressive politics a real movement? Or was it simply the quest for anything better than Bush?
