AT&T loses first round motion for preliminary injunction in lawsuit that VZ's ads on AT&T's limited 3G coverage are misleading.

A bunch of us also note that AT&T, by its own admission, was willing to pay a premium to avoid the "open device" condition on the C Block in the 700 MHz auction. But it has not invested the revenue from controlling its wireless network into building a better network. That's fine, but then don't pretend that if we impose regulation you'll stop investing. This is like trying to bluff with a visibly busted flush in five card stud.
