Link Harvest: India Defies Monsanto

Monsanto and ADM have, IMO, earned a special place in Hell for their use of a technology that should benefit the world and turning it into the source of neo-colonialism. Happily, Monsanto has now pushed the envelope on greed, doing to farmers in the U.S. what they have done to farmers in the developing world. Grumblings in the U.S. now inspire India to say no to Monsanto's latest genetically engineered crops -- which Monsanto refuses to give permission for independent tests to establish the veracity of the claims.
