Link Harvest: Reed Hundt on How We Wanted Internet To Replace Broadcasting

This speech by former FCC Chair Reed Hundt is interesting and, despite adjusting for the natural tendency of people to retroactively claim success for things that worked out successfully, has a ring of truth. Certainly during his tenure, Hundt brushed off concerns about concentration in "old media" as irrelevant in the coming "new media" universe, and showed a religious faith in the power of convergence to eliminate the need for structural regulation.
