My only gloss is to add that while this article is about how to design a "sick" system (and thus keep someone with you forever by getting them to fit the system), it is important to keep in mind that most "sick systems" (as defined here) are created by people who have no idea what they are doing. But since their behavior is rewarded, they keep doing it. this is important because most people do not think in terms of systems analysis. They think in terms of moral analysis (witness our eternal quest in news for a narrative that providers a hero and a villain). As a result, many people fail to recognize they are in a sick system because they keep coming back to the fact that the individual maintaining the system is a nice person and doesn't mean to create a sick system. This is especially true in a system with no physical abuse.
