3.65 GHz WiMAX's future: http://www.wispa.org/?p=2702 What is amusing to me is that I had to fight Intel and Alvarion and the rest of the WiMAX posse tooth and nail to get the 3.65 GHz rules and keep them. They wanted it it licensed for auction. Happily for them, they lost. As usual, I do not expect thanks.
Comcast adds broadband subscribers, risking more merger conditions: http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118022284.html?categoryid=4025&cs=1&query=tom+lowry
Actually, the more interesting question is what happens in the pending mergers, Comcast/NBCU, Qwest/CenturyLink, if Genachowski wusses out on classification and NN. While he does not need 3 votes to wuss out, he will need 3 votes to get Comcast/NBCU through. I do not think he has the courage to pull a Kevin Martin and go 3-2 with the other two Republicans.
