Got up this morning to the last session of TPRC, one of my favorite professional conferences that I rarely get to because it usually conflicts with the Jewish holidays. It is always at the end of Sept. or beginning of October. But it is scholarship oriented toward policy and draws from the policy/wonk crowd. Essentially, it's telecom WonkCon, and all my friends go. But I never manage to make it. (In this, it sadly mirrors just about all conventions for me these days.)
Afterward, I got my hair cut, then -- instead of doing work or cleaning up -- I watched the last two episodes of this past season of Dr. Who (first Matt Smith season).
Be nice to have life settle down to something reasonable.
