Support Interfaith Worker's Justice Campaign Against Wage Theft
"You shall not hold back the wage of the poor or needy among you, neither your brother nor the stranger that is in your land or in your gates. On the day his wage is due, you shall pay it; do not wait for the Sun to set upon him! For he is poor and his life relies upon it, do not, therefore, have him cry out against you because of it, for it shall be counted against you a sin." Deut: 24:14-15.
Wage theft occurs when employers simply do not pay wages owed or promised. It is an all too common problem, counting on the fact that the vast majority of poor workers are not in any position to demand their full wages.
