Link Harvest: Not Every Issue Is About Net Neutrality

Tim Karr writes this piece on the implications of Obama's selection of Daley for Chief of Staff for Net Neutrality.

I am beginning to feel rather like the psychologist in the old joke where man goes to psychologist and psychologist shows him a bunch of Rorschach blots. Each time to psychologist asks: "What do you see in this picture," and each time the man responds "people having sex."

"Sir," says the Psychologist. "You are obsessed with thoughts of sex."
"But Doctor," the patient protests. "You are the one with all the dirty pictures."

While I am sure Daley will be generally pro-corporate, the fact is there just isn't that much for Obama to do on network neutrality. Could it make a difference? Sure, if network neutrality legislation ever got that far. But the reality is that NN is a very small issue in the grand scheme of things.
