I continue to not understand why the rest of the world seems to have no concern whatsoever about the ongoing human rights abuses in Syria. The U.S. has attempted to rally the international community for even modest sanctions, and has met sharp resistance. And why does Syria have such amazing support in the International community that sanctions against the torture of children are condemned as "meddling in Syria's internal affairs?" Is it because they are a client state of Iran?
I am awed at the amazing courage of the Syrian people. To demonstrate in the face of oppression every week, while the world looks away.
