It's important to say nice things about Republicans when they do right
I occasionally get pushback from some folks for being "soft" on Republicans -- meaning that I will say nice things about them when they do stuff I like. But there is a difference between being genuinely fair/recognizing when someone does the right thing and making false equivalences for the purpose of appearing reasonable. So I wrote this up in praise of Senator Snowe and her approach to spectrum. And yes, if one of the Republican candidates for president took the same approach, I'd be equally happy to say nice things about him on this particular subject.
